The majority of established artists have so far released their debut projects for the year. Kaskie Vibaya - Fathermoh Ft. Ssaru
'Kaskie Vibaya' ranks among the biggest hit songs to have graced the Kenyan music scene since the year started. The masterpiece from Fathermoh and Ssaru has maintained the first spot on YouTube trending music for two weeks in a row and accumulated over 2 million views. The song further ranks among the most popular sounds on TikTok having earned hundreds of video challenges. The Gengetone track was produced by Vic West under Black Market Records.
Bembeleze - Willy Paul Ft. Nandy
Willy Paul and Nandy once again explored their seamless music chemistry and produced 'Bembeleze'. The dynamic duo who were behind the success of 'Njiwa' and 'Hallelujah' expressed diversity in their latest music project. 'Bembeleze' which cultivates the theme of love and perseverance was produced by Kimambo On The Beat. It was then mixed and mastered by WCB's Lizer Classic. The cinematic visuals of the song were directed by Nezzoh Montana. A lot of time, creativity, and poetry was invested into the composition of the song making its lyrics extremely powerful.
The song has earned close to one million views on YouTube within two weeks of its premiere.

Boutross has dominated the airwaves since the year began thanks to the viral 'Angela' hit song. The music star cemented his dominance on the music scene with 'Angela Remix' featuring Jamaican dancehall star Konshens, 1da Banton, and Juicee Mann. The remix of the song presents more of the dancehall genre while tapping into a variety of African sounds. The highlight of the song was in the first verse where Konshens expressed gratitude to his Kenyan fanbase by owning his viral nickname of Otieno.
Romantic Call - Vijana Barubaru
After shooting into stardom in 2022 with the viral 'Sasa Hivi' song, Vijana Barubaru has maintained its presence in the music industry with consistency and creatively tailored songs. The duo has once again taken over the music scene with a goosebump-evoking 'Romantic Call' song. The song which fuses music and poetry presents a storyline of lovebirds who work against the odds to have a better life together. The music video complements the storyline of the song. Within a week of its release, the song already ranks among ten of the most trending Kenyan songs on YouTube.
'Romantic Call' is the fourth song from the band since the year started. The other three include 'Sasa Hivi' remix featuring Nandy, 'Ipo Siku', and 'Kale Kadance'.

Fast-rising music band TheLuchi has released a new song dubbed 'Haiya' featuring Brandy Maina. The song explores a variety of sounds with unique choreography. The audio of the song has been produced by Chiluba and Jazzy Bass Beatz. It was mixed and mastered by Jegede. The song has enjoyed a warm reception earning thousands of views on YouTube. It has further been featured on YouTube's trending music chart.
