Ice Prince releases new album in East Africa via Mdundo!

Ice Prince, the award winning artist 2013 BET Awards for ‘Best International Act Africa’ has decided to distribute his well received album FOZ (Fire Of Zamani) on the Kenyan music platform mdundo.com.
Mdundo.com is now the only online distributor of the album in East Africa.
The hit “I Swear feat French Montana” can be downloaded for free while only premium subscribers can download the full album.
Mdundo Operations Manager Thiru Mungai says, "Ice Prince is one of the most successful artists in Africa and we are very honored to release FOZ. We’ve agreed with Chocolate City [ Ice Prince is signed to the Nigerian label ] that the single ‘I Swear ‘ feat French Montana be on free download and anyone can download the full album for only 100ksh”.
The GM of Chocolate City in Kenya, Angela Angwenyi, explains, “Chocolate City is proud to be debuting Ice prince's new album FOZ here in East Africa and we are excited for you to experience it first on Mdundo. We are grateful for partnerships like the one we have with Mdundo which allows our music to reach the masses in an easily accessible and affordable way.”
The partnership is a step in the right direction for the young music platform, Mdundo.com.
Last month the distribution platform started contacting musicians in Tanzania and Nigeria as a part of becoming a cross African Music service.
According to Martin Nielsen, CEO of Mdundo, "Mdundo is working towards making music fairly, easily and legally available across Africa.
