BEST FIFA MEN'S PLAYER: Lionel Messi won the award for Best Men's Player, beating out Kylian Mbappe and Karim Benzema. This was due to his impressive contribution to Argentina's success in winning the World Cup and being the best player in the competition held at the end of 2022.

BEST FIFA WOMEN'S PLAYER: Alexia Putellas won the Best Women's Player award after playing for Barcelona and the Spanish national team for two consecutive seasons. She was competing against Alex Morgan and Beth Mead for the award.

BEST FIFA MEN'S GOALKEEPER: Emiliano Martinez from Argentina won the Best FIFA Men's Goalkeeper award after a fierce competition against Thibaut Courtois of Real Madrid and Yassine Bounou, who took Morocco to third place in the 2022 World Cup.

BEST FIFA WOMEN'S GOALKEEPER: Playing for Manchester United's women's team, Mary Earps emerged as the winner in the Women's Best FIFA Goalkeeper category due to her impressive performance in the 2022 Euro Championships. She was competing against Ann-Katrin Berger of the German national team and Chelsea, as well as Christiane Endler from Chile, who plays for Lyon in France.

BEST FIFA MEN'S COACH: Lionel Scaloni won the Best Men's Coach award, beating out Pep Guardiola of Manchester City and veteran coach Carlo Ancelotti of Real Madrid.

BEST FIFA WOMEN'S TEAM: The team consisted of Christiane Endler, Lucy Bronze, Mapi Leon, Leah Williamson, Wendie Renard, Alexia Putellas, Keira Walsh, Lena Oberdorf, Alex Morgan, Sam Kerr, and Beth Mead. Mary Earps, despite winning the Best Goalkeeper award, was not included in the FIFA Best Women's Team.

BEST FANS AWARD: Argentina won the FIFA Best Fans Award again, as their fans were one of the contributing factors to the team's success even before winning the World Cup. Their appearance in the final alone brought the fans to their feet, celebrating with Messi's grandmother.

PUSKAS AWARD (BEST GOAL): The Best Goal award went to Marcin Oleksy after he scored a scissor kick while playing for Warta Poznan against Stal Rzeszow.

Other awards included the Fair Play award which was won by Luka Lochoshvill for his heroic act of saving the life of fellow player Georg Teigl who developed breathing problems after falling on the pitch.
