The football action from the weekend has shaken up the FKF premier league table with some teams recording improvement while others registering disappointing results. Gor Mahia cemented its league leadership with a 2-1 victory over Police Fc. KÓgalo's win was secured by Dennis Nganga and Benson Omala in the 19th and 81st minutes, while Police Fc's goal of consolation was scored by Elvis Rupia.

KCB experienced a bad day in the office following a 1-0 loss to AFC Leopards. The loss demoted the bankers to third place and opened a window for Nzoia Sugar to climb to second place. Nzoia Sugar's improvement was facilitated by a goalless draw with Talanta Fc. This is the second consecutive draw that Salim babu's boys have recorded.

Tusker Fc finally found its way back to winning as it beat Posta Rangers 1-0. The sole goal of the match was scored by Mwinyi Shami Kibwana in the 4th minute. The victory denied AFC Leopards a chance to climb up the ladder. The brewers had been scheduled to play against Bandari on Wednesday 8th March but the match has been postponed. AFC Leopards will have another chance to improve their position on the same date as they face 17th-placed Wazito Fc.
