Award-winning dancehall Ghanaian artist Samini is one of the African artists set to perform at the Black History Festival in the US this month.

Black History Festival will go down from February 15 to February 18, 2023, in Columbus, Ohio State.

Some of Samini’s popular songs include My Own, Linda, Master Key, Where My Baby Dey and Body Flame. His musical tours to Europe; UK, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands and Canada earned him mileage in the international music scene.

Coupled with his outspoken nature, he clicks with the audience pretty fast. His music is also unique and highly relatable.

He will share the stage with big names in the world’s music industry such as Akon, Kevin Little, Sean Paul, Shaggy, Bennie Man, Steel Pulse, Wayne Wonder, Chaka Demus, and Jay Z.

The annual Black History Festival honours the accomplishments and contributions of African Americans throughout history in the United States.

It often consists of a range of occasions and actions that emphasise various facets of black history, culture, and legacy, including speeches, exhibits, seminars, and concerts.

People of all ages can attend the event, which is hosted in a number of places around the nation, to learn about and celebrate the contributions made by African Americans to American society.

In the United States, the month of February is customarily recognised as Black History Month, and numerous events and activities associated with the Black History Festival take place during this period.
