Kenyan music star Lexsil has finally released the much-anticipated collaboration with Tanzanian singer Rayvanny. The new song titled 'By Your Side' is the first official music project from the vocalist in 2023. The year, which has welcomed some of the biggest hit songs within the first month, has experienced stiff competition in the music industry. As such, each artist had to invest extra effort to ensure their work matched up to the standard quality. Judging by its performance on various music streaming platforms, 'By Your Side' has earned a spot on the list of the best songs released so far in 2023.
Lexsil and Rayvanny are best known for their prowess in producing love songs. The duo explores their expertise in this sector in the new track and presents a heartwarming love song. The release of the song comes a week before Valentine's day. The seamless chemistry between the two songsters and the marriage of their vocals spice up the song even more.
The audio of the song has been produced by Denzel under Reginald Kings company. The instrumentals of the song borrow from the Bongo and Afrobeats genres to create a unique blend. The melodies presented by the artists further strengthen that blend, as they switch between the two genres. The music video, on the other hand, has been directed by Dolls. It features a storyline that corresponds to the lyrics of the song.
