Kenyan music lovers have been treated to good news from Ohangla star musician Prince Indah who announced his upcoming music project with the King of Mugithi music Samidoh. The announcement came as a pleasant surprise to many. Prince Indah while making the announcement pointed out that 2023 was a special year in the local music industry. The 'Girwa Ni' hitmaker further noted that such a special year needed to be kicked off on a high tempo.

"We are in the promised year and we must start it off with a high tempo. As it was promised, we are ready deliver. The river is flowing from the mountain to the lake at a very high speed. Are you ready for the gurgling?" Prince Indah stated.

The collaboration will be one of a kind and arguably the biggest on the vernacular music scene. The music stars represent two of the biggest ethnic groups in the country; with Samidoh coming from the Gikuyu community and Prince Indah stemming from the Luo community. The two communities enjoy a long-standing social-political history that dates back to the pre-independence era.

The timing of the collaboration could not have been better given the fact that the two music icons currently rank among the most sought-after local musicians. Prince Indah has broken into the modern music space while maintaining his style of music and so has Samidoh.

The majority of music lovers will be anxiously waiting for the song dubbed 'Bado Nakupenda', which will officially premiere on Friday 3rd of February at 6:00 PM. The biggest mystery is how the two stars will fuse their diverse music styles and create one blend of music. Will one of them adapt to the other's style? Or will they find a way of maintaining their individual styles?
