2023 has so far presented some of the best songs from Kenyan artists. A lot of upgrades have been witnessed in terms of creativity, lyrism, and diversity as compared to previous years. The music industry has already gained momentum with only one month down the line.

The music scene is expected to get even more vibrant with the announcement of upcoming projects from various star artists. Here are the three music projects that fans are anxiously waiting for in 2023;

Bahati Ft. Harmonize

'Nowe Sweety' hit maker Bahati has announced an upcoming collaboration with Konde Music Worldwide boss Harmonize. This will be the first time that the two music stars will be working together. Many are anxious to see how the two will blend their diverse styles of music.

This will, however, not be the first time that Bahati will be working with a top Tanzanian music star. He has previously worked with former WCB artist Rayvanny on 'Kiss' and 'Nikumbushe'. Harmonize, on the other hand, will be jumping to another collaboration with a Kenyan artist. The first music project that he was featured in was 'Pilipili' by Willy Paul, then recently 'Woman' by Otile Brown.

Khaligraph Jones Ft. Harmonize

This was probably one of the most unforeseen collaborations. Although Khaligraph Jones has worked with various Tanzanian songsters such as Alikiba, the announcement of his collaboration with Harmonize came as a pleasant surprise to many.

The two artists are giants in their respective fields. They enjoy similar strengths in various musical aspects such as songwriting skills and delivery of their punchlines. With Khaligraph doing Hip Hop and Harmonize Bongo, one can only imagine the masterpiece blend that will be produced by the duo.

Sauti Sol Album

The multi-award-winning boyband announced that it will release its sixth studio album this year. Sauti Sol's last album 'Midnight train' which was released in 2020 accrued global success and dominated various music charts for months. Given the fact that the band has only released one song in the last 2 years, it goes without saying that a lot of investment has been put into the album to compensate for the lengthy silence.
