Pheelz Releases First Single of 2023 - "Stand By You"

Talented Nigerian producer turned singer Pheelz has released his first single of 2023, ‘Stand By You’. 

On the record, Pheelz expresses his love for that special woman in a special way. He reaffirms to her that she comes first in his life and he is glad that the star aligned for them to be together. 

In a melodic approach, he sings how his heart is frigid like the winter when he begins his lyrics. Pheelz employs figurative speech and metaphors to put his message across. He compares himself to a man with so much warmth that nothing can take away the warmth and change him into a snowman. 

‘Stand By You’ comes shortly after he was recently designated "Artist To Watch" by Pandora and Amazon music for 2023. He made his US television debut with a ‘Finesse’ performance on NBC's Late Show with Seth Meyers last year after giving a mesmerising set at Essence Fest's "Afrobeats After Dark.

‘Finesse’ featuring BNXN catapulted him to stardom and people started seeing him as an artist and not as a famed producer. He then released ‘Electricity’ which was his second offering for 2022. Pheelz performed these two songs at the BET Awards Pre-Show as the first Afrobeats artist and received a nomination for Best New International Act in 2022.

He has also announced that he will be releasing his first EP ‘Pheelz Good’ on February 10. "Stand By You" gives fans and listeners a sneak peek of what to expect from the EP.
