FKF Suspends 15 People from Football Activities Over Match-Fixing- Mdundo Alt

The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has provisionally suspended 15 people from football activities pending an investigation of match-fixing claims. The federation in a statement signed by its general secretary Barry Otieno said that the suspension was aimed at protecting the integrity of the FKF premier league.
The 15 people include two coaches and 13 current and former players. The two coaches are Zetech University's Willis Ochieng Oganyo and Kericho FC's Du Monde Selenga Mangili. Tusker FC's Isaac Kipyegon is among the top notable players on the list.
“In an effort to protect the integrity of the league, in line with the federation’s zero-tolerance policy on match-fixing, the federation has with immediate effect provisionally suspended the following individuals pending the investigations of the matter by Fifa and the FKF’s integrity department... All FKF members are advised to avoid any form of sporting contact with the aforementioned individuals during their suspension period,” a section of the statement read.

- Sammy Sindani Sabiri - Player, Silibwet Leons FC
- Michael Idovolo Madoya - Former player, Nairobi City Stars FC
- Johnstone Ligare - Former player, Zoo FC
- Geoffrey Gichana - Player, Zoo FC
- Dominic Ouma Okoth - Player, Kericho Rovers FC
- Isaac Kipyegon - Player, Tusker FC
- Stanslaus Akiya Munyasa - Player, Silibwet Leons FC
- William Odunga - Player, Silibwet Leons FC
- Daniel Kiptoo - Former player, Zoo FC
- Brian Lumumba - Player, Zoo FC
- Du Monde Selenga Mangili - Head coach, Kericho FC
- Dennis Monda - Former player, Vihiga United
