FKF Premiere League: Tusker Suffers First Loss As Gor Mahia Redeems Itself

Tusker's unbeaten record came to an end at Mbaraki Stadium after suffering a 2-1 loss against Bandari. Bandari's victory was engineered by Umaru Kasumba and Andrew Juma in the 9th and 31st minutes respectively. The Brewer's goal of consolation was netted by Jackson Macharia in the 50th minute of the match.

Second-placed Nzoia Sugar failed to clinch the first position after a 1-1 draw with Kakamega Homeboyz. Kakamega Homeboyz earned its goal through Kamura in the 30th minute of the match and held onto it until in the late second half when Nzoia Sugar equalized courtesy of Alfred Emoni.

Talanta's resilience finally bore fruits in the 31st minute courtesy of Dennis Oalo. James Mazembe, however, sealed KCB's victory with a second goal in the 51st minute.

Wazito outdid itself by holding back Ulinzi Star's constant attacks until the 74th minute when Hillary Simiyu penetrated the defence to score the sole goal of the match. The three points brought Ulinzi Stars a step closer to the top three in the FKF standings table.

Gor Mahia redeemed themselves with a 2-0 win against Posta Rangers. K'Ogalo was hungry for a victory after suffering its first loss of the season at the hands of KCB last Wednesday.

Sofapaka recorded its second consecutive win after beating Mathare United mercilessly in a 4-0 victory. Roddy Manga scored the first goal in the 8th minute before Sebastian Sunday added the second one five minutes later. Baron Oketch and Ben Stanley cemented Sofapaka's win in the 73rd and 88th minutes respectively.

Vihiga Bullets recorded its first victory after beating City Stars 2-0, and AFC Leopards suffered extreme humiliation at the hands of Bidco United after being beaten 4-1. Kariobangi lost to the Police in a 2-1 match.
