Hot Ghana Albums to be Released in 2023

The Ghana music scene promises good tidings this year and one of those will be coming in form of new albums from your favourite artists. 

The past year made huge strides in the industry compared to 2021. Albums from Black Sherif, Sarkodie, Fameye, MzVee and others rocked the airwaves and this year might just be better. Continue reading below for the five Ghanaian albums to expect this year. 

• Vic Mensa

The US-born Ghanaian rapper is just about to start a tour in his native home country and he will be ending that tour with a new album. The initiative will also include merchandising. He tells Boardroom that with his new project coming, he’s more enthusiastic than he’s ever been in a long time about music. According to him, he is even happier that he is the one creating the concepts for his videos and styling everything. 

• Stonebwoy

If you didn’t have enough of reggae and dancehall star Stonebwoy in 2022, worry not because he has more music lined up in a new album coming this year. 

• Kelvyn Boy

After releasing several hit songs like ‘Down Flat’ and ‘Billionaire’ in 2022, Kelvyn Boy is about to treat you to more of his charm with a new album in 2023.

• Efya

The ‘Little Things’ singer understands how much her fans value her and this time, she is all geared up to dish out more music in 2023.

• Kojo Antwi

The highlife/Afropop/reggae singer otherwise known as Mr Musicman has big plans for 2023. One of them is a brand-new album which will see him change his stage name. The album is one of the most anticipated Ghana albums to be released this year.
