Sol Generation's Bensoul and Nviiri The Story Teller brought a fresh vibrance into the Kenyan music space. Their style of music was not only unique but also creative and poetic. The majority of music lovers related to their songs differently; some were entertained, while others were touched emotionally.

As time went by, fans realized something interesting about Bensoul's and Nviiri's styles of music. It appeared that Bensoul tailored his music to those who were in love, whereas Nvirii composed his songs for those who were heartbroken. The two catered to the emotional needs of their fans wholistically through their songs.

Although it seems to have been purely coincidental that Nviiri was more identified by the heartbreak songs, some thought that this was intentional and strategic to promote his music.

Speaking during a recent interview, Nviiri pointed out that it was never his intention to brand himself as a 'heartbroken' artist. He, nonetheless, admitted that a couple of his songs were motivated by the heartbreaks that he experienced. The music star went ahead to state that his music will now take a different direction. He explained that he has now mastered the art of releasing songs depending on the seasons. This means that his fans will now get more diverse music from him. Nviiri urged his fans to embrace and support his new version.

"Nyinyi ndio mmeng'ang'ana kunieka kwa heartbreak, that is not me can you embrace the new Nviiri...  Now I know how to curate my events and sessions when there's a structure, saa hii nawapigsaha sherehe, valentines tena," Nviiri said.

Some of the top love songs that Nviiri The Story Teller has released include; 'Pombe Sigara', 'Overdose', 'Sorry', 'Niko Sawa', and 'Baridi' among many others.
