Celebrated Ghanaian rapper Black Sherif will release his debut album ‘The Villain I Never Was’ on October 6.

The "Second Sermon" rapper describes the album as a musical masterpiece to which he gave his all. It represents his sacrifice in life to make his dream come true. “It took me everything to give life to this body. The one thing in my life that I gave everything up for. There is life in this body, I hope it treats you good and speaks to you like I want it to. My debut album, “The Villain I Never Was”,” he posted on his Instagram.

This year, Black Sherif wallowed in the success of his single hits ‘Kwaku The Traveller’ and ‘Second Sermon (Remix)’ and his latest release ‘Soja’. ‘Second Sermon’ traversed the airwaves across Ghana and Nigeria. Grammy Award-winning artist Burna Boy heard the song and within no time, they both linked up for the remix.

The remix of the song is as popular as the two artists are. It is no different from his other record charting hit ‘Kwaku the Traveller’ which stirred his fame across West Africa and beyond. With the forthcoming ‘The Villain I Never Was’ album, fans expect a solid masterpiece with his signature social and administrative advocacy.
