Kofi Kinaata Crowned Emy Africa Music Man of the Year

Hiplife artiste Kofi Kinaata won the Music Man of the Year at the 7th Edition of Emy Africa Awards held over the weekend in Accra.
Kinaata who is popular for Fante rap and freestyle thanked his fans for this new milestone. “Another One! Thanks be to God, Organizers, #TeamMooove fans and anyone who made it possible. EMY Africa Awards 2022 - Music Man of the Year! #EMYAfrica22 @emyafrica,” he posted on Instagram.
The new award comes hot on the heels of Artiste of the Year at the 2022 Ghana Music Awards USA in August. The ‘Have Mercy’ hitmaker credits this success to his fan base.
Meanwhile, the South African star Zahara, Cina Soul, Akwaboah, and Kwabena Kwabena performed at the event. Emy awards honours and recognizes pioneers in a variety of sectors for their outstanding achievements. The award was created in 2015 as a platform to recognize and celebrate the achievements of men in the music industry.
