Mavin Records has announced the signing of a new artist by the name of Bayanni. 

The label announced the new signing on all of its social media channels on Tuesday with pomp and colour. Popular Instagram comedians Sabinus and Brain Jotter, two masters of the humorous sketch, made an appearance in the grandiose reveal video of the newly-signed Mavin Records artist.

The label recognizes that Bayanni is talented and makes a superb addition to the label. He underwent Mavin's artist development program to improve his craft before the official unveiling.

He debuts his time with Mavin Records with his first EP "Bayanni," which introduces his creative and melodic sensibilities. The aim of the EP is to thrill listeners and establish a name for himself in the Nigerian music industry.

He follows the signing of Boy Spyce as the second act Mavin has signed this year. 

Born Abimbola Oladokun, Bayanni is a promising 25-year-old new Afro-pop artist. He changed his name from Zhenoboy and is best known for his hit "African Beauty" which shot him to recognition in 2021. He used to do cover songs for popular hits and was reportedly signed to Davido Music Worldwide before. 

His cover versions of songs include Peru, Jowo, and Felony, the latter of which he dropped in 2021. BMW, African Beauty, Duro, and Ballerina are just a few of his singles. Listen and download songs from his new EP below: -
