He released ‘Ta Ta Ta’, among three other tracks in his debut ‘Bayanni’ EP which tipped his luck in Naija’s music industry. TikTok was awash with this song and its huge commercial success booked the Lagos born artist a date with American R&B artist Jason Derulo for a remix. Derulo is Bayanni’s long time American music idol.
Surprisingly, his label reached out to Derulo without Bayanni knowing and he sent back his verse of the remix which amazed him. The two artists never went to the studio together because he couldn’t get a visa to fly to the US at the time. Nevertheless, the remix is one of the biggest releases in 2023.
