Nigerian singer and songwriter, BNXN (formerly known as Buju) has unveiled his upcoming EP ‘Bad Since 97’ tracklist ahead of its release on August 25.
The seven-track extended play features Wizkid, Wande Coal, and Olamide. "Can't stop the Shine. Ever! Ahead Ahead!,” he captioned a photo of the tracklist shared on his Instagram page.
The EP follows his last released project, the seven-track “Sorry I’m Late” EP released in October 2021.
In February 2022, it was new beginnings for the Nigerian afro-fusion when he rebranded from ‘Buju’ to his new stage name BNXN dignifying his real birth name ‘Benson’.
He told his fans that he is no longer ‘Buju’ but ‘BNXN’.
“It's no longer “Buju” Call me “Benson” written as ‘BNXN’,” he tweeted.
His fans had varied reactions, some saying that it is hard to adjust but will have to for the love they have for him.
“This will be hard for me to adjust to but I will I love Benson, not because of his alias but what he offers.” Ever since fans and listeners alike have adjusted to his new appellation.
On August 25 2022, fans will get a full dose of the new project with the only peek into the project as of now being his last released single “Kenkele” featuring Wande Coal. Check out the tracklisting for BNXN’s Bad Since 97 EP below: -
