Celebrated Nigerian singer Paul Okoye of Psquare says the only industry in Nigeria that is now experiencing growth is the entertainment industry.

He took to Twitter Tuesday and jibed the current governance in the land. Paul says Nigeria is behind in everything else except in music which is a benchmark for Africa.

“Nigeria is totally backward the only thing moving forward is music/entertainment,” read his tweet.

Both Paul and his identical twin brother, Peter, have been very open about their opinions on the current political climate in the nation.

Peter recently announced that he would prevent non-PVC-carrying visitors from entering his house and office.

According to the artist, all of this was a part of the preparations that were being made to get Nigerians ready to participate in the upcoming general elections.

"I have just instructed my security and my management that No one is allowed to visit my house or my office without showing their PVC!" he tweeted.

Several other colleagues of the Psquare brothers are urging eligible voters to register themselves ahead of the general elections in 2023.

The artists believe that Nigeria could change with better leadership which is why the 2023 polls are so crucial. Earlier on several celebrities in the entertainment industry vowed to publicly shame their colleagues who take financial contributions from politicians in order to campaign for them.
