Renowned Kenyan gospel musician Ben Cyco has released a new song dubbed 'Salama' in collaboration with legendary gospel star Alice Kimanzi. 'Salama' preaches finding peace, safety and comfort in Jesus Christ. The message is borrowed from various verses in the Bible.
Ben Cyco takes the first verse of the song where he presents a smooth flow of powerful lyrics through his melodious voice. He then proceeds to sing the chorus of the song before Alice Kimanze comes in the second verse of the song.
"Fedha ni mali yako, dhahabu ni zako pia, ukizichukua zote uniachie roho wako, were unapeana, tena unachukua, ukizichukua zote uniachie roho wako, yote nilonayo, kila nitakacho, yote bure kama sina roho wako. Yote nilonayo, kila nitakacho, yote bure kama sina roho wako," Ben Cyco sings in the first verse of the song.
The song was written by Ben Cyco and Brandon Israel, then produced by Dennis Ihaji who is popularly known for his tagline of 'Ihaji Made It'. The song's video bears a simple storyline of a successful man who appreciates the role of God in his success. It features Alic Dancers who perform a simple choreography that keeps one entertained throughout the song.
The song has been received positively by fans online and has gained thousands of views a few hours after its publication on YouTube.
