Still searching for their first win in the current UEFA Nations League season, France will take on Austria at the Ernst Happel Stadion on Friday night.

France has claimed only one point from their opening two games in League A Group 1 and currently sits five points behind leaders Denmark, while Austria sits in between both nations with three points.

Ralf Ragnick made a perfect start to life as Austria's head coach with an impressive 3-0 victory away against Croatia in their opening Nations League game, but they were quickly brought back down to earth when they got beat by Denmark 2-1 at home.

Victory for Les Bleus, who have won three and drawn two of their five visits to Austria, would move them to within two points of Denmark if they were to lose to Croatia.

France is the favourite to win at 1.82 odds.

The hosts currently sit top of League A Group 1 after winning their opening two matches, while the visitors sit at the foot of the standings with only one point.

Croatia has endured a difficult start to their Nations League campaign, with a disappointing 3-0 defeat at home to Austria in their opening fixture followed by a 1-1 draw at home to France on Monday.

Croatia will have a point to prove as they have only won two of their 12 Nations League games since the competition began in 2018 and have conceded at least two goals in nine of those matches.

Under 2.5 goals is tipped for this fixture at 1.72 odds.
