Kofi Kinaata Reveals Why He Will Never Venture into Politics

In a time when music artists and celebrities are using their influence to venture into politics and try to make a change, talented Ghana musician, Kofi Kinaata has decided that he will enact and make a positive change in a path that’s not politics. 

According to Kofi, he cannot stand the insults which by extension will also be directed at his parents. 

Speaking to Cape Coast’s Kastle FM Ghana, the “Single and Free” singer said that politics in his hometown is not based on facts. He chooses to focus on his music career than dabble in any form of politics.

“They will insult my mother so I beg you to leave me out of politics because in my hometown where I come from politics isn’t about facts.

“What you are saying might be true about a certain issue and everyone knows it’s true but because of partisanship, they’ll say it’s not true.

“Insulting me personally won’t bother me much but extending it to my parents who might have lived a life that no family member of yours can come closer to but because I’m into politics that’s why you’ll insult them,” he said.
