Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva wants to leave the club this summer, according to reports from Spain.

The Portuguese international was key in City’s fourth title win in five years this campaign, but Jijantes FC has reported that he would be happy to join Barcelona.

And with City keen to invest in reinforcements in their squad, Silva could be expendable despite his marvellous campaign.

The Portuguese international has been with a switch to La Liga, with the likes of Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid touted as possible destinations for the marauding number eight.

Also, City has reportedly initiated talks with super-agent Jorge Mendes over a deal for AC Milan and Portuguese forward, Rafael Leao.

The report suggests that Pep Guardiola is keeping an eye on him as a possible replacement for Raheem Sterling who has been linked with a move away from City.
