Multi platinum-selling Nigerian singer, songwriter and music producer, CKay is gearing up for the release of his next single titled Watawi.

The new single will be released on the 17th of June and will be the “focus” track until the new CKay album which is due to arrive in September this year. 

Watawi features superstar singer, Davido, South Africa’s Focalistic and the talented disc jockey Abidoza also from South Africa. The record “covers a common topic in modern relationships - WATAWI / what are we? CKay, Davido, and Focalistic make it clear to their respective ladies that no labels are required for what they are. “

The forthcoming single serves as a follow up to “Emiliana” which was recently certified platinum in France after selling over 150, 000 units. 

Since his global breakout with the hit record Love Nwantiti, CKay has been on the road performing at different concerts in various countries. He graced the Coachella Festival with a stellar performance back in April.
