The past week has been extremely active in the Kenyan music industry as various top musicians released their new projects. The competition has gone a notch higher as the new songs try to occupy top positions on music charts. Here are five major music projects that were released in the past week;

Jali - Sanaipei Tande ft Nyashinski
This was one of the most awaited collaborations in the Kenyan music scene. Nyashinski had earlier on hinted about the project, leaving fans with extreme curiosity and anxiety. Sanaipei and Nyashinski are respected for their immense talent when it comes to song-writing. The theme of 'Jali' is unfaithfulness in a relationship. Sanaipei takes the persona of the wife of a cheating partner, Nyashinski. The combination of their vocals and unique styles of singing brings the best out of the duo.
Gin Ama Whiskey - Breeder Lw X Mejja
'Gin Ama Whiskey' has taken over as the official party anthem in the country. The gengetone song has been written and tailored to suit a party and club register. Breeder LW takes the first half of the song before Mejja joins him with his conversational style of rapping.
Chocolate - Willy Paul
Saldido International President Willy Paul has released a new love song dubbed 'Chocolate'. The song features popular socialite Amber Ray. Willy Paul sings of how he is in love with the beauty of this woman who he describes as being 'Chocolate'. The song has been produced by Sav Beat, mixed and mastered by Teddy B under Saldido International.

Run Up - Otile Brown
Trending currently at number nine on YouTube for music is Otile Brown's latest video for his song 'Run Up'. The video is from his EP ‘Uptown Flex’ that followed his 2020 ‘Just In Love’ debut album. The 'Uptown Flex' project houses 'Sempre', 'Fine by me', 'Double Up', and 'Realer' produced by Ihaji Made It and ‘Run Up’ produced by Vicky Pon Dis X Ihaji Made it.
I Deny Official - Bensoul X Nviiri The Storyteller X Fancy Fingers
Members of Sol generation Bensoul, Nviiri The Storyteller, and Fancy Fingers have released 'I Deny'. The song talks about the denial of being accused falsely in a relationship. The artists also talks about going through pain and heartbreak in a relationship.
