Odi wa Murang’a’s new song ‘Hatukuelewi’ featuring Exray and Boutross has been taken down from YouTube over copyright allegations.
At the time it was taken down, the song had already gained over 200,000 views. According to a social media post that was published by Odi Wa Murang'a on the morning of 9th February, the copyright claim was made by Jeza Beats.
"Hi Odi Wa Muranga, due to a copyright takedown notice that we received, we had to take down your video from YouTube… Takedown issued by: Jeza Beats. This means that your video can no longer be played on YouTube," an email sent to Odi wa Murang'a read in part.
Odi Wa Murang'a apologized for the inconvenience caused by the deletion of the song and assured his fans that he is working on resolving the issue.
“Hatukuelewi taken down after hitting 200K views on YouTube due to a copyright claim. All in all God got us all the way. Sorry for the inconvenience trying my best to bring it back," Odi Wa Murang'a posted.
