Jay Rox Announces Way Forward after Releasing Viral ‘Enigma’ Album

When Jay Rox released his latest album ‘Enigma’, he was overwhelmed by the level of support from Zambians. He even retracted his earlier statement where he had accused Zambians of failing him.

Now, he has promised to release a music video for each song in the album as an appreciation for fans and the support given to him.

 “We plan to release music videos for all the songs on #Enigma because the world needs to listen to this greatness. Thank you for being a part of the journey #Lion,” he wrote on Facebook.

This is a fantastic follow-up to his previous album, ‘SCAR’, released in 2020 and garnered a positive reception from his fans at the time.

Jay Rox's ‘Enigma’, is a collection of twenty-one songs that serves as his sixth compilation album. The body of work includes three previously published soundtracks, titled ‘Commotion’, ‘Calibre’ and ‘Weekend’ which feature iconic Zambian artists Slapdee, Macky 2, and Tanzanian superstar – Rayvanny, among others.

For the final touches, he enlisted the help of top-tier musicians such as Yo Maps, Zar The Supreme, Umusepela Chile, Ern Chawama, Kamanzi, LCJ Chocolate and LCjay, as well as internationally acclaimed artists including Kenyan Genge artiste, Mejja.

He also features Tanzanian rap ace, Young Lunya, and Zimbabwean phenomenal singer, Gemma Griffiths, among others.

‘Enigma’ is a fantastic addition to the burgeoning Zambian music industry, and it is well-positioned for future success in the country.

Throughout the year 2021, the artiste had been dishing out bangers, and there is nothing better than starting the New Year with a cup full of them. Jay Rox revealed that he worked on “Enigma” for two years and wanted it to be more than an album.
