Jay Rox Apologizes to Zambians after Overwhelming Support of His New ‘Enigma’ Album

Following the release of his much-awaited album ‘Enigma’, Jay Rox has seen the light and felt the love by Zambians that he apologized over his earlier statements that Zambians don’t support him.

On Monday evening, he said that he felt overwhelmed by the amount of support fans gave him in his new album.

“I have felt your presence the past 3 days. You have given #Enigma overwhelming support so it’s only right that I apologize for saying Zambia has failed me. Guess I’m only relocating into your hearts,” he wrote on Facebook.

In December, The headphone music CEO contemplated leaving Zambia to elevate his music. He said at the time that his people had failed him many times.

“Maybe the time to relocate for the purpose of elevating my music career is almost here because Zambia has failed me so many times,” he wrote after releasing ‘Weekend’.

‘Weekend’is one of the singles in his new album featuring Tanzanian Bongo Flava Rayvanny. Jay Rox's sixth studio album, ‘Enigma’, is a collection of twenty-one songs.

The body of work includes three previously published soundtracks, titled ‘Commotion’, ‘Calibre’ and ‘Weekend’ which feature iconic Zambian artists Slapdee, Macky 2, and Tanzanian superstar – Rayvanny, among others.

For the final touches, he enlisted the help of top-tier musicians such as Yo Maps, Zar The Supreme, Umusepela Chile, Ern Chawama, Kamanzi, LCJ Chocolate and LCjay, as well as internationally acclaimed artists including Kenyan Genge artiste, Mejja.

He also features Tanzanian rap ace, Young Lunya, and Zimbabwean phenomenal singer, Gemma Griffiths, among others.
