Gospel Artists React to Kambua’s Exit from ‘Gospel Sunday’ Show

Popular gospel musician and media personality Kambua has left the ‘Gospel Sunday’ Show that aired every Sunday morning on Citizen TV.

Kambua hosted the show for the last 12 years and had become the face of ‘Gospel Sunday’ . In a statement on Sunday, January 16, 2022, Kambua said it was time to make her exit, but did not reveal her next move.

“And just like that, 12 years!! Today I got to take a bow from a show that's been so dear to my heart; Gospel Sunday. I have grown, learned, and loved being a part of your lives. Coming into your living rooms every Sunday morning. Thank you!

“To Royal Media services, all my amazing colleagues, my family and friends, thank you for allowing me to be all God created me to be, without inhibition. I can look forward to whatever the future holds for me, because faith IS...! Thank you Jesus,” she posted.

Reacting to her statement, popular gospel artists wished her well and thanked her for giving them a platform.
