Amapiano star Kamo Mphela has hit a new milestone after her song ‘Nkulunkulu’ that was released 9 months ago hit 10 million views on YouTube.
Being relatively young in the industry, Kamo expressed her gratitude for the outpouring of support she has gotten thus far.

“Nkulunkulu on 10 million views, thank you to everyone who believes in the brand. 2022. May God Bless The Hustle,” she tweeted.
In 2021, her song ‘Nkulunkulu’ was nominated for Best Music Video at the Mzansi Kwaito and House Music Awards.
At the AmaFest Tour in the United Kingdom on September 4, 2021, she performed the song in front of a crowd of over 20,000 people alongside Cassper Nyovest and Focalistic.

Before joining the music industry, Kamo was a dancer. She rose to fame after posting videos of herself dancing on Instagram. As a result, she was dubbed ‘Queen of Amapiano’ for her impressive dancing skills.
After signing to Major League Music in 2019, she released her first album under the company, named Twentee. She appeared on the MFR Souls song ‘Amanikiniki’ which topped Good Hope FM's South African House Music Top 10 Chart for the first time.
She has also collaborated with local musicians like Nadia Nakai and Killer Kau on stage and in the studio.
Her song ‘Nkulunkulu’ was nominated for Best Music Video at the Mzansi Kwaito and House Music Awards in 2021.
