“Today marks the end of my journey with Kalandanya Music Promotions, unfortunately I will no longer work with the brand or associate my business with the KMP brand, I’m now independent and officially making my departure from the label who have kept me like family from my introduction into the camp back in late May 2021,” he wrote.

Cinori thanked the KMP team for giving him an opportunity to do music with the label. “To Mr Bwalya Kalandanya, Uncle Rex & The KMP management, I would love to say thank you for the opportunity and everything you did for me knowing and unknowingly. May God continue to bless you both and the family. Much love from your boy.”

He is the second artist in less than a month to leave the label. Yo Maps exited last December, a month after the release of his first album ‘Komando’. The ‘So Chabe’ hit maker moved to Nexus Music Entertainment.

KMP came under fire in 2021 due to its political inclination to PF party that lost the presidential polls to HNPD. Its artists - Yo Maps, Mampi, Nez Long and Macky 2 among others composed campaign songs for PF party.
