Zambian musician Slap Dee has released a new song dubbed ‘Midnight in Matero’.

‘Midnight in Matero’ is the perfect way to end the year that hasn’t been so kind to him. His rap prowess is redefined by the lyrical speed and emotive beats with such a fascinating crescendo.

In general, ‘Midnight In Matero’ is a new age hip-hop hit elevating rap music in Zambia. Its sets a precedent for Zed hip-hop, one of the most competitive genres in Zambia.

‘Midnight In Mtaero’ was produced by Miles Came Along. Fans say it is the one song that makes him retain his crown as Zambia’s king of hip-hop.

“If there is a crown bigger than that of the King then let's give it to Slap Dee too. This is amazing Kingman. Salute,” Zakalia Longwe says.

John Mwape added: “I can't stop listening to this vibe Slap Dee you are the realest to ever do this you are the King of hip hop you deserve the Crown I salute.”

Jeff Zulu said that Slap Dee just sent a message to naysayers with this new jam. “And some people still need proof that you are the greatest to ever do it. Long live the King.”
