She went on to release a number of songs that took over the airwaves with the videos being played on several television and radio stations around the country.

Being in the same dancehall genre, many music fans thought that she had come to overtake Cindy Sanyu who has been crowned the queen of the genre.

However, in an interview with BBS TV, Karole expressed her strong admiration for Cindy who she says paved the way for her musically.

"She embraced me when I had joined the live band because she was there before me. She used to come for my shows and vice versa so that respect of women supporting women, I don't take it for granted. When I got my breakthrough song 'Yaka' she gave me my next song, a collaboration 'mwoto' to push me forward,” she said.

Karole Kasita further hailed Cindy for not only being hardworking, but also inspiring all female artists in Uganda

"She is my inspiration and I love her for her hard work and inspiring all the female artists. I would say Cindy is the Beyonce of Uganda; that all-time artist,” she added.

Weighing in on the beef between Cindy and Sheebah Karungi, Karole noted that she appreciates both.

"I would go to Cindy's concert but still share my time with Sheebah. They are both independently strong in different aspects," Karole said.
