Yvonne Mwale Performs Her Last Show in Germany as the Country Heads into another Lockdown

German-based Zambian musician Yvonne Mwale performed her last in Burghausen Germany in a totally sold out show in Jazz Keller a few days ago. She was excited that she spread her charm here but, sad that this was her last performance for 2021 as the country heads back to another lockdown.

Mwale is, however, optimistic that things will look up and change in the near future regarding the pandemic.

“We had a great time performing at a sold out Jazzkeller in Burghausen last night. This was literally the last concert at this club before another lockdown and our last concert for this year. Let’s hope things get back to normal in a not too far future,” she wrote.

The ‘Kuipa Mtima’ hit maker is based in Germany where she has lived for several years now, but she has never forgotten her Zambian roots. She is an ambassador of the Zambian culture in Europe.

She has come a long way to make it in life, and music is a part of things she cannot do without. Mwale shares her life’s journey through perceptive music depicting a woman who has left all her pains and a difficult past to focus on the positives about life.

Her 2019 album release ‘Free Soul’ showed how much she has done for herself to grow and move forward in life. ‘Free Soul’ is an epic tribal rhythm with a witty, pop, Jazz and EDM fusion. It fly’s the Zambian flag so high and gives her culture a new breath of life miles away from home.
