Yvonne Mwale Celebrates Representing Zambia in ‘One Human’ Global Project

Award-winning Zambian songstress Yvonne Mwale has hit a new milestone after she  was selected to represent the country in a global music project dubbed ‘One Human’ with artists from 110 countries.

The project is a song and video that has beaten the world record. The song was composed and produced by Los Angeles-based artist and composer Graham Czach in honor of the UN Nelson Mandela International Day weekend.

Mandela Day was marked on July 18 in South Africa as Mzansi remembered a global hero who fought for their independence.

Mwale speaking shortly after the release of the song said she feels proud for representing her mother country in an event of such magnitude.

“I'm so proud to officially represent Zambia in "ONE HUMAN", a track produced by Los Angeles based composer and producer Graham Czach, featuring 123 artist from 110 countries all over the world. The song was released in honor of UN Nelson Mandela International Day.”

The fact that she collaborated with legends makes her part of the song special.

“It's great to have collaborated with some legends of the World Music scene in this project, even some artists I personally know and appreciate such as Dobet Gnahoré, Kareyce Fotso, SaRaha and many others,” she said.
