Zex Bilangilangi Shares Inspiration behind His Trending Song 'Magazine’

Fast-rising Ugandan artist Zex Bilangilangi has revealed that he came up with his trending hit Magazine' solely to appreciate the beauty of the black African woman.

The youngster dropped 'Magazine' back in October but it is currently one of the biggest songs in the country.

Speaking to Bukedde TV, Zex noted that the song is an encouragement to ladies to always appreciate their beauty and not try to change their natural colors.

"With Magazine, I was trying to preserve African beauty. A lot of girls out there are using creams to bleach but in this song, I speak to ladies to retain their beautiful melanin color. Everyone should maintain their natural colors because this is what God created you to be," Zex Bilagilangi said.

The Firebase affiliate uses the jam to describe how the beauty of his woman has driven him crazy. Zex Bilangilangi says the rare African beauty qualifies to be featured in high end international magazines.

The audio was produced by Nessim Pan Production while the video was shot and directed by Sasha Vybz.

The video features beautiful ladies showcasing the African culture. ‘Magazine’ is the very first single off Zex Bilangilangi's upcoming album that will be dropping this year.
