Victor Kamenyo Share Details of His Upcoming ‘Above Brain Matrix’ Album, Terms it Unique

My new album is something you have never heard before - Ugandan artist Victor Kamenyo has shared details of his upcoming album dubbed 'Above Brains Matrix', stating that it will be one of his most unique crafts.

Speaking to BBS TV, the luga flow rapper said once the album is out, Ugandans should listen and analyze every song’s, arguing that lyrics all the songs have important messages for them to learn.

"I want you to analyze every song on that album because it is something you have never heard of before. It is not everyday music that you listen to," Kamenyo said as he sampled 'Reason', one of the singles off the album.

‘Reason’ talks about unfairness in everyday life. He hints on colorism, racism and unfairness in schools among others.

A number of Ugandan artists are resorting to releasing music albums during this pandemic period, as they believe it will help them earn more when they put them up for sale.

As the leader of Hip-hop in the Ugandan Musicians Association (UMA), Victor Kamenyo says the association is pushing several corporates to work with the music industry in a bid to supplements artists’ earnings.

"We are trying our level best to upgrade the industry so that an artist gets exactly what he deserves. We want to put right all the societies collecting artists' royalties and make sure artists earn something more. When we release these albums, we sell them on our websites to help us earn more," Kamenyo said.
