Celebrated Zambian musician Macky 2 has released a new song dubbed ‘Beautiful Night’ featuring South African rapper AKA.
In ‘Beautiful Night’, Macky 2 addresses several issues including; politics, governance and self-consciousness.

Both artists merge well in the song delivering their verses with massive energy and great mastery.
Explaining how the collaboration came to be, Macky 2 said he first build a connection with AKA before they decided to work together. He says collaborating artists should always be on one page before walking into studio.
“I have worked with a lot of artists in my whole career and each one of those believe me there was some connection, some vibe some chemistry,” he said.
According to Macky, there are a lot of big artists he would have wanted to work with, but due to lack of chemistry, they can’t get to studio together.
However, with AKA, he describes the making of ‘Beautiful Night’ as a magical moment. “This right here is the magical moment when we finally got something good.”

Prior to releasing the song, there were reports that Macky 2 had a collabo with South African rapper Kwesta, but he refuted the claims.
Macky 2 had shared Kwesta’s photo on his Facebook page captioning it “He’s my G”, but never mentioned anything about a collaboration. He says that his fans interpreted this to mean that he was working on a collaboration with the South African rapper.
