Macky 2, Chef 187 & Towela Kaira Thrill Zambia with First-ever Joint Performance

The Kaira siblings; Macky 2, Chef 187 and Towela Kaira are indisputably big names in the Zambian music industry. Over the weekend, they thrilled fans with their first joint show during Yo Maps’ ‘Komando’ album launch.

It was a thrilling performance as Towela’s golden voice blended into her brothers’ signature hip-hop vocals.

The last time the siblings appeared together was months back when Towela launched ‘Lover’ video. They did not perform though.

Macky 2 holds the family’s musical torch and his brother Chef 187 says he was drawn to music by his elder brother’s passion. As a young boy, Macky 2 was a staunch Catholic but showed great enthusiasm for music and this never faded away.

Macky 2 got into the game in 2007 and shot into fame fueled by his then long standing rivalry with Slap Dee. Soon after, Chef 187 followed in his footsteps while Kaira – a biomedical science graduate - also got into music partly until last year when she fully got into the game under Nexus Music Entertainment.

In October, Chef 187 released ‘Like A Blesser’ featuring his sister Towela. ‘Like a Blesser’ is taken off Chef 187’s mega album ‘Bon Appetit Deluxe’.

The song’s visuals done by Big Deal Graphix are awash with affluence and a love theme that is fascinating to say the least.
