Zambian music star Macky 2 has refuted claims that he is working on a collabo with South African rapper Kwesta.

A few days ago, he shared Kwesta’s photo on his Facebook page captioning it “he’s my G” but didn’t mention anything about a collabo.

He says his fans interpreted this to mean that he was working on a collaboration with the South African rapper.

While setting the record straight, he said: “I have good news and bad news. well…the bad news is I don't have a song with Kwesta ... In fact I didn't even say I had a song with him, you guys just concluded…ine I just said he is my g.”

Without divulging much, he said there will be a fiery collaboration with a South African artist. “But the good news is there is a proper collaboration…infact this 1 is even better…trust me when I say Zambia kuchalo.”

This new song could be part of ‘Olijaba’ album that is yet to be released. In July, he came clean on why he was yet to release the album, stating that things “were tense” at the time.

“We haven’t even set like an actual release date because I feel like Zambia is tense right now and the climate just doesn’t allow,” he stated.
