Quex Announces When Ugandans Should Expect His Debut Album

Fast-rising Ugandan artist Quex has announced that his debut album is ready and will be released in January 2022.

Quex became an internet sensation after he released his popular 'Kachumbali' hit over a year ago.

Having attained great success with the song, the young aspiring medical doctor believes his fans should be treated to an album soon.

“We have an album coming out. I predicted a number of artists would be releasing albums during this time so I planned well and didn't want to be part of the crowd. I strategized and planned for my album to drop in January," Quex said.

Quex says he will first drop one more single before the end of the year as he prepares for the album release.

"I will first release a single before the year ends and shoot the video too. I promise you will enjoy the project. I recorded over 20 songs in the studio awaiting releas," Quex said during an interview with NBS TV.

Following the announcement, fans are eagerly waiting for the album as it will be Quex’s first huge project since he made his debut.

Meanwhile, Ugandan are currently jamming to Azawi’s recently released album dubbed ‘African Child’.
