South African music trio Mi Casa has released a new song dubbed ‘Obsessed’.

The new hit follows the footsteps of ‘Mamela’ another record breaking hit released 10 months ago. However, ‘Obsessed’ addresses a universal and societal issue that is love on an overdose.

'Obsessed' is available for streaming of top digital platforms.

The smashing single celebrates love diversely; love for each other or a particular thing that could be a talent or hobby. Whilst highlighting this, Mi Casa brings out yet another side of ‘Obsession’ that is toxicity in relationships.

From the song, two lovers are bound together by love; they cannot do without each other but theirs is a perfect example of a toxic relationship. Interestingly, they try so hard to make it work without giving up.

“We created a series of striking visuals for this song that captures “Money” & “Vanity” as the most common obsession for us as humans and yet one simple thing keeps pulling us together... that sweet sweet loving,” Micasa Music posted on Instagram.

Vthevowel co-wrote the song with Mi Casa and it is currently one of the top hits in their new album ‘Obsessed’.

J Something, one of the band members has fond memories of how the song was made all together.

“The fondest of memory when it comes to the making of the song is definitely the fact that the single stems from the drum progression I heard in the room while I was jamming outside with my guitar,” he said.
