A few days after DJ H-Mac launched his new label, New Age Entertainment, pessimists got a field day, with some urging him to return to XYZ, arguing that his new label will fail.

In a hard-hitting reply, he said: “I've simply stated that I've hit the ceiling and there is nothing I can offer XYZ anymore.”

While leaving XYZ, H-Mac who served as the label as its manager for over ten years said he gave the record all he could and feels  it is time for a new challenge.

“I've contributed only so much to the movement that I know for sure I can take another route and work hard with my decision,” stated H-Mac.

When he launched the new label, he said his decision was inspired by the need to nurture talent.

“It became clear to me that my journey in music has not been mine alone and I would not do myself and many others any service if I was to watch the dreams of so many artists I have journeyed with get compromised,” his statement read in part.
