"Just like any business or job, we face challenges but they are supposed to make us better at what we do. I can't speak on mine because we ain't the same and I wouldn't want to discourage the young talent looking up to me. For now, the main challenge is Corona; things haven't been easy ever since it came but we are trying," Martha said.

Opening up on her inspirations, Martha noted that seeing female artists especially those who came before her succeeding in the industry pushed her to work hard.

"I've grown up admiring a number of artists, from the Afrigo band, Iryn Namubiru, Jose Chameleone, Sheebah Karungi, Irene Ntale and Juliana Kanyomozi. Generally, all the women who have made it to the top in the industry inspire me. I would love to be like them," Martha said.

Martha Mukisa is currently trending with her hit single 'Nkulinze' that is enjoying massive airplay.
