Fast-rising Ghanaian dancehall act , Addi Self has opened up about how self-proclaimed king of Dancehall Shatta Wale became a pillar to his music career journey.

In a past interview with Foster Romanus on E.TV,Ghana’s Late Nite Celebrity Show; Addi Self revealed that Shatta Wale tought him a lot with regards to music and entertainment in general.

The former Shatta Wale Movement Label [S W M L] signee, Lauded Shatta for his guidance and grooming as he exited the label. He took with him, a lot of useful information, that would help propel his career further.

In his own words ‘Shatta Wale groomed me and I said I lost nothing after leaving the record label. That doesn’t mean I also didn’t gain anything. Since meeting him, he’s guided, advised, and criticized me when necessary.’

Prior to being signed to the S.W.M.L, Addi Self had just began his music career, noting that joining the label was definitely beneficial.
