Tems Reveals Name of her Upcoming EP- IF ORANGE WAS PLACE

Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer Tems has announced that her highly anticipated new Extended Play will be dropping this Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

Tems had last week said the EP would drop on Friday – but it seems she has pushed its release date by a few days.

In a post on her official Twitter handle, the 26-year-old singer revealed that the EP will be titled “IF ORANGE WAS A PLACE’.

The rebel gang leader had already hinted about the inspiration behind the EP’s title last week during a Twitter question and answer session with her fans.

She said it was “The taste and colour of the sweetest Orange” while also promising that the EP would be just vibes and something light.

Tems also revealed that ‘IF ORANGE WAS A PLACE’ the EP has only one featured artist.

This will be a second career EP for the singer that has been getting global attention lately – first with a collaboration on Wizkid’s ‘Essence’ and then the recent inclusion on Drake’s sixth album ‘Certified Lover Boy’.

Tems dropped her debut EP ‘For the Broken Ears’ in 2020 which houses the hit single ‘Damages’.

She also recently announced that her debut album will be arriving in 2022, and one artist that you can be sure will be featured in the project is Wizkid.
