Dizmo broke in the limelight in 2018 and his name has been on top of the charts ever since. His musical overtures drove him into rap music and he does not disappoint at all.

In 2018, he released his second single dubbed ‘Life Konda Munzako’ and it was what would cement his legacy to date.

When he first met Jae Cash, who signed him into his recording label Apa ili So Entertainments, he was in Grade 11 in 2015. He asked him for a verse in his first song ‘Wash and Wear’.

Fast forward, he has no regrets, not even when he hawked in the streets because he has come a long way.

In a past interview with ZMB Talks, he recalls an incident when Jae Cash introduced him on stage during Mr Eazzy’s event and he was booed. It was the lowest moment in his music career but he decided not to let it ruin his music career.

“It hasn’t been an easy thing for me to win hearts from people because from the start, nobody supported me…so it hasn’t been an easy path a lot of things have happened,” says Dizmo.

He says that though being booed hurt him, his passion for music kept him going nonetheless.

“I was booed on the stage that time but then if I was someone who never had passion, I could have stopped from there but then something kept me moving,” he said.

Dizmo describes Jae Cash as a guardian angel who has taught him a lot about music and quality of sound.
