Ugandan Hip-hop musician Feffe Bussi has advised fellow artists to lower their expectations when it comes to the money they will earn from releasing music albums.

A number of artists have strongly held back when it comes to dropping albums, accusing Ugandans of not embracing this culture. Many of them believe music lovers will only stream/download very few songs out of the many on the album, ignoring the rest.

The luga flow rapper has urged fellow artists to consider that not all songs released on the album will be fan favorites.

"When you're making an album, lower your expectations because not every song will be big. You release a collection of ten songs and only four will be outstanding.

"You don't expect all the ten to be hit songs and if you think like this, then you don't have brains at all. Just concentrate on your few viral songs and leave the rest to be purchased alongside them," Feffe Bussi said.

He encouraged artists not to give up because he believes Ugandans will pick up the culture of streaming albums as time goes by.

"It is a culture that we should pursue because it will evolve. Fans will change with time," he added.
