EXCLUSIVE: Khaligraph Jones In The 21st Position On Mdundo's Most Downloaded

Khaligraph Jones! A name and face the year 2014 will find quite hard to call unacquainted. For all I know, he is in fact 2014! The 1960 rapper owned the year after he saw it upon himself to prove to the world just how much rap he had in him by releasing hit after the other like a train with its carriages. And like the train, he swept everything in his way. Reason why I was anything but shocked to find him on the list of Mdundo’s 2014 most downloaded artists, in the 21st position.
The highlight of the year, being when he brushed shoulders with fellow rapper, Octopizzo. ‘All hell broke loose’ would not even come close to defining what went down on that particular event; from diss tracks and their replies to live interviews from both sides. ‘I Run 254’ – who can forget this jam? This according to some, declared him the winner and after a short while the dust obviously had to settle.
Like the living legend he is, he released hits that will take quite a while before we forget them. From ‘We Be Happening’, ‘Biashara remix’ to ‘Em Besha’ Khali owned the year by tattooing the songs on every Kenyans’ lips and performing alongside international act, 2 Chainz.
