Trouble continues to pursue XYZ Entertainment with as KOBY adds to the list of a dozen artists who have left the label.
KOBY left the label on Sunday after a seven-year stint. He thanked the management for giving him a platform to record his songs and mix and master almost every other song on major albums by the label.
“Apart from being a recording artist I have mixed and mastered every album and record that has dropped on the label during this time. I had the rare opportunity to work with some of the countries biggest talents including the late great P Jay and Daev Zambia to mention a few. I have nothing but gratitude to the entire XYZ crew and management and more especially Slapdee, for giving me this opportunity and rare privilege to work with you all.”
As to why he left, he said that his “vision does not coincide with that of XYZ”. KOBY added to a growing list of big names leaving the label founded by Slap Dee years ago.
